Fenway- Boston State Of Mind at Fenway Park

We are trying to get Billy to perform this song at Fenway Park!  It would be great to show the audience what Boston Strong is all about.   If he could record it live and then sell it on itunes with proceeds going to Onefundboston.org....well that would be INCREDIBLE!!!!  If the girl singing on the video would have a chance to perform it with him...OMG!  I don't want it to replace NY State Of Mind but I think it would be a great shout out to the survivors!  If you agree please respond or forward or whatever else you think would work

Really?  Even for the Boston Marathon Survivors?  Even show the video before the concert?  I have faith in Billy and he has a big heart....

Why would he show support for a questionable, government-organized charity group? The whole "Boston Strong" stuff is getting old, quite honestly. Three people died, many more were injured, which is tragic, but having lived through 9/11 it's hard to look at this cause being drawn out for over a year without some cynicism. I don't know many people who didn't lose a friend or relative or both, and we weren't begging big artists to sing awkward rewrites of their former hits over a year later.
  • um yeah she won't do it,  she just did it!  Congrats that was epic,  <span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">Emma Stanganelli had </span>Fenway in the palm of her hand,  Billy Joels version is better but that was pretty cle-vah.

I was really touched by this tribute. Billy didn't have to do this, but he did. It clearly was the right thing to do. I appreciate it when performers can take a "back seat" to someone else-especially someone who may have not touched with her voice, but with her heart. Bravo Billy!

We are so happy that Billy did it.  He and Mark Rivera and the rest of the band show that they care about everyone.  Emma (who only found out she was doing it at 12:00 the day of the show) Rocked it and Pat garrett's lyrics were incredible.  As someone who helped make the original video possible...It was one of the proudest nights for all of us.  Boston Strong....no one will bring us down.
